In this workshop presented by CAIR-NJ, community members will learn about the importance of Muslim inclusion within the public sphere. How do we detect and deconstruct bias and stereotypes? Topics covered include: general overview of the Muslim population in the United States, the history of Islam, various religious practices, the importance of Islam to Muslims, and how to detect and deconstruct biases.
