Lisa Napoli is a career journalist who has worked at the New York Times, MSNBC, and public radio’s Marketplace. She was born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, and is the author of four books: Radio Shangri-La: What I Found on My Accidental Journey to the Happiest Kingdom on Earth, Ray & Joan: The Man Who Made the McDonald’s Fortune and the Woman Who Gave it All Away, Up All Night: Ted Turner, CNN and the Making of 24-Hour News, and Susan, Linda, Nina & Cokie: The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR.
